AC Milan striker Robinho admits it came as no surprise to hear Mario Balotelli is unsettled in Manchester.

While Man City striker Balotelli claims he is happy with everything at the club, he said last weekend he was struggling with life off the field.

Robinho also failed to settle after joining City from Real Madrid in 2008 before making a permanent move to Milan last summer.

Balotelli moved the other way - from Inter Milan to City - and Robinho can see why the 20-year-old is not enjoying Manchester.

"It doesn't surprise me," he said.

"He's not the first one to have difficulty in that city. I don't know if he will decide to stay or go.

"But I admit that I understand him. You don't live well in Manchester."

Robinho's international team-mate Kaka has been linked with a return to Milan from Real Madrid.

And, although the Brazilian star would welcome Kaka back to the San Siro, he believes fellow Milan frontman Antonio Cassano should stay.

"He is a friend, I'd embrace him willingly," he added.

"If he came here I'd be very happy, although it won't be easy for him to repeat what he did in his first Rossoneri experience.

"Cassano is a great friend of mine and I hope he stays with us. He must not leave."
