Free agent agrees terms with League Two promotion hopefuls

Adi Yussuf has agreed to sign a one-year deal with League Two side Burton Albion. The former Leicester striker, 19, is yet to put pen to paper, but has agreed in principle following his release from the Foxes earlier this summer. The Zanzibar-born player has impressed during a trial with the club, and Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido has since moved to wrap up the deal. He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to be able to bring Adi in to the squad. He's got a great attitude, he's trained really well with us and done well in the pre-season friendlies. "He's a strong boy and there's a lot of potential in him." Yussuf is delighted with the opportunity and is eager to reward the faith put in him by shooting Albion towards the play-offs this season. He said: "I'm really pleased that the Gaffer has given me a chance and I want to thank him by doing well this season. The boys have helped me as well so I want to thank them as well. "I want to score as many goals as possible and if things go well I think we can get into the playoffs."
