Skysports.com understands Rachid Bouhenna has agreed a contract at Doncaster, while George Friend has signed a new deal.

Both players have agreed deals that will keep them at the Keepmoat Stadium until 2013.

Algerian defender Bouhenna, 20, has spent the pre-season on trial at Rovers and has impressed manager Sean O'Driscoll enough to earn a contract.

Fellow stopper Friend arrived at Doncaster from Wolves last summer on a two-year deal and has notched up 35 appearances for the South Yorkshire club.

The 23-year-old came through the youth ranks at Exeter and has also spent time on loan from Wolves at Millwall, Southend and Scunthorpe.
