Norwich boss Paul Lambert insists he will not make panic buys after injuries to James Vaughan and Elliott Ward ruled them out of the start of the season.
The Canaries have drafted in seven players this summer as they look to assemble a squad brimming with Premier League quality and strength in depth.
Vaughan and Ward have both been afflicted by knee injuries which they picked up at the training camp in Germany last week.
Despite the injuries to key personnel, Lambert does not yet feel the need to replace the duo, with the opening game against Wigan just a fortnight away.
"They are both going to miss the start of it, which is a bit of a blow for us, but we have to go on and that is why you have the squad," Lambert said.
"It is not a few months or anything like that. Hopefully they will be back quite soon, but they will miss the first few games, that is for sure.
"We will have to get them back pretty quick when they start their rehab."
