Bolton have sealed the signing of Nigel Reo-Coker, skysports.com understands.
The former Aston Villa and West Ham United midfielder has finalised a two-year deal at the Reebok Stadium.
Reo-Coker travelled to the North West on Monday before holding talks with Owen Coyle and undergoing a medical.
Bolton have now agreed terms with the 27-year-old, who joins on a free transfer after leaving Villa at the end of the season.
The Trotters could even hand Reo-Coker his first taste of action on Wednesday evening in their friendly against Bury.
Reo-Coker is Bolton's second signing of the summer, following on from Darren Pratley's arrival from Swansea.
