Stevenage have signed midfielder Robin Shroot on a two-year deal following his release from Birmingham.
The 23-year-old had been on trial at Broadhall Way and scored the winning goal in a friendly against a Fulham XI last week. Shroot, a former Northern Ireland Under-21 international, joined Birmingham in January 2009 after spells with AFC Wimbledon, Staines and Harrow Borough. His only game for the Blues came later that month in an FA Cup defeat by Wolves. During his time at St Andrew's Shroot had loan spells at Walsall, Burton and Cheltenham.
