Burnley have completed the signing of Manchester City youngster Kieran Trippier on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old spent last term with Barnsley and he made 39 Championship appearances for the South Yorkshire club.
Trippier is the second youngster to join Burnley on loan from City following their previous acquisition of Ben Mee.
The defender, who played a key role in City's 2008 FA Youth Cup-winning team, has been capped by England at various youth levels.
Trippier could make his first appearance for his new team as early as Tuesday when the team tackle Oldham in a pre-season friendly.
