Expired passport means detour for utility man

Hearts utility man David Obua has missed the club's flight to Hungary after his passport expired. The Uganda international was due to fly with the rest of Jim Jefferies' squad to Budapest for Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Paks. Instead, Obua has flown to London in an attempt to renew his documentation before leaving for Hungary and rejoining his colleagues. Jefferies is not overly worried about Obua's absence as the 27-year-old is only expected to miss one team training session as a worst case scenario.

No disaster

"If he can get things sorted out, he will be with us on Wednesday," Jefferies told the club's official website. "It won't be a disaster as he will have missed just the one training session (on Tuesday). "It is something we have to deal with and something we are working on to resolve."
