Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton may move to sign England youth international goalkeeper Jed Steer on loan from Norwich.
Steer has been on trial at Huish Park and played the full 90 minutes during the recent 1-0 friendly win over Bristol City.
Skiverton confirmed Steer, 18, could be set for an extended stay in the West Country.
"He has put himself right in the forefront to be my keeper when the season starts," Skiverton told the Western Morning News.
"Jed was keen to come down and have a look at us. He's a confident lad who has come up through the age-group ranks with England. He has a great pedigree."
