Partizan have confirmed they are in talks with Blackburn Rovers over the sale of Serbia midfielder Radosav Petrovic.
Petrovic was due to travel with his team-mates to Belgium for a UEFA Champions League qualifier, but he has not made the trip.
The 22-year-old looked to be on his way to Vitesse Arnhem earlier in the summer, but a move for the Serbia international failed to materialise.
Blackburn have now made their move for the midfielder, however, there have been no further developments over the past 24 hours.
Partizan director of sport Mladen Krstajic has confirmed the clubs are talking, although he says no deal has been agreed.
"I can confirm that we're in the middle of talks with Blackburn for Petrovic," explained Krstajic.
"In the last 24 hours there hasn't been anything of interest.
"For now there's nothing official, only that we're in talks. A transfer has not been finalised."
