Slovakian youngster Filip Kiss is looking forward to spending the season at Cardiff after finalising his loan move from Slovan Bratislava.
The 20-year-old midfielder has completed a deal at Malky Mackay's side after helping his native club claim a domestic league and cup double last term.
Kiss admits he is fulfilling a boyhood dream by making the switch to England.
"I have always dreamt of playing in England," he told Slovakian website SITA.
"Cardiff may be in the second division, but they are a very popular club.
"My aim is to impress as much as possible and to play in as many fixtures as possible.
"Naturally, all will depend on how I grab my chance and I believe I will make the best of it. I want to keep on improving."
He added: "My initial feelings are very good. You can see the professionalism here is on a high level.
"The training centre is fantastic and the new stadium is just great. People here care about the players completely."
