The agent of Inter Milan full-back Maicon claims his client has no intention of moving on this summer.
Speculation regarding the Brazilian's future has gathered pace following Inter's capture of Jonathan from Santos.
He is seen to be the long-term successor to his countryman Maicon, who has spent the last five years at Giuseppe Meazza.
Real Madrid are reported to have held an interest in the buccaneering right-back for some time, and Jose Mourinho worked with the samba star during his days with Inter.
The 29-year-old's representative has sought to bring about an end to the rumours, however, by claiming that a switch elsewhere is highly unlikely.
Antonio Caliendo told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I don't think Maicon will move away from Inter.
"It's a decision that will be made by (Inter) president Massimo Moratti. If an offer of a certain value does not arrive, I doubt that Moratti will sell him."
Maicon still has two years left to run on his current contract with Inter.
