Skysports.com understands that Danny Webber is set to be handed a permanent deal with Queens Park Rangers.
The former Portsmouth striker joined Rangers for training last week and he has impressed manager Neil Warnock.
Warnock already knew Webber from their time together at Sheffield United, and now he has decided to hand him a contract.
"Danny is a smashing lad, I have known him for years," Warnock said on Sky Sports News.Skysports.com understands Webber is set to sign an initial one-year deal at Loftus Road.
