Hearts defender Lee Wallace insists the speculation over a summer switch will not affect his game.

Champions Rangers have had two bids for the 23-year-old left-back turned down while Premier League Wolves are also thought to be interested.

But the Scotland international, who has just one year left on his contract, is confident the transfer talk will not hinder his performances on the pitch.

"It does not affect me at all, to be honest," he told the Daily Record.

Same response

"You read stuff in the paper or when folk are texting you asking what's going on but it's just the same response from me.

"I always say that until anything is concrete I'll come in to Hearts every morning, get my head down and work hard. That's what I'll continue to do.

"I'll stay focused on the job in hand and that's how it should be."
