Bradford trialist Nialle Rodney is set to sign a one-year contract, skysports.com understands.
The former Nottingham Forest striker was offered the chance to impress Valley Parade boss Peter Jackson at the end of June.
Jackson was seeking a striker with pace, which Rodney has in abundance, and the 20-year-old has earned himself a 12-month deal at the League Two club.
Rodney was released by Forest at the end of last season shortly after Billy Davies left the City Ground.
The youngster will become Bradford's seventh signing of the summer, as Jackson continues to remodel his squad.
