QPR have confirmed that striker Danny Webber is currently training with the club.
The 29-year-old is out of contract after leaving Portsmouth at the end of the season.
He made 32 appearances in two years with Pompey, playing just eight games under Steve Cotterill last term.
Webber has previously played under Neil Warnock at Sheffield United, helping them into the Premier League in 2006.
And Warnock is giving the former Manchester United trainee a chance to show he is worth another shot at top-flight football following the Hoops' Championship success last term.
After two loan spells with Watford, Webber left United for the Hornets on a permanent basis in 2003 and now has a career total of 45 league goals from 142 starts.
