Djibril Cisse admits he is 'fed up' of waiting for his move to Lazio to be completed, but hopes he can undergo a medical on Tuesday.

Lazio are keen to sign Cisse from Panathinaikos, but revealed last week that they need to offload a striker before bringing in the France international.

The former Liverpool forward, who is under contract at Greek outfit Panathinaikos until 2013, is optimistic his transfer will eventually go through.

"I am fed up with waiting for the negotiations to be completed," said Cisse to Corriere dello Sport on Monday.

"I hope to be in Rome tomorrow to undergo a medical. For my transfer to Lazio, I have had to give up part of my holidays."

The 29-year-old is excited at the prospect of playing in Italy's top flight, adding: "I'm fascinated by the idea of experiencing a new adventure, in a difficult and stimulating league as is the Serie A.

"I am ready for that challenge. All I want is to greet the Lazio fans that are waiting for me.

"I know my arrival is creating a lot of enthusiasm and I want to repay that trust."
