Striker Charlie Austin has revealed that he is hopeful of being full fit for Burnley in time for the new Championship season.
The Clarets man is expected to miss his side's opening summer friendly against Altrincham but should be fine ahead of the new campaign where the club will be aiming on improving on last season's eighth-placed finish.
The 22-year-old only played four games for the club following his switch from Swindon in January on a three-and-a-half-year deal after dislocating his shoulder.
Austin said: "Last season was a bit of a killer because I didn't play much.
"But I've worked hard with the fitness staff and physios and now it's all strong and well and I'm ready to go.
"I have got a lot to prove to myself and other people. I just want to progress and Burnley is the club I want to be at."
