Skysports.com understands highly-rated Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham has signed a new deal at the club.
Eastham has agreed a two-year contract at Bloomfield Road to commit his long-term future to the Seasiders.
The 20-year-old's previous terms expired earlier this summer and a number of clubs were thought to be monitoring his situation.
A number of sides from both the Premiership and Championship were watching his situation with interest, but Blackpool have managed to tie him down to a new deal.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway is a big fan of Eastham's and sees him as a key part of the club's future.
The 6ft 3in defender has impressed in two loan spells at Cheltenham during the last two seasons and he will hoping to make the breakthrough into the Blackpool first team this term.
