Hugo Lloris is expecting to start the new season at Lyon and has brushed aside talk of an imminent transfer.
Reports have suggested that the France international is on the summer shopping lists of a number of top clubs, with Arsenal believed to be among those weighing up a move.
This is not the first time, though, that Lloris has been the subject of intense transfer speculation and he has learnt how to handle the rumours.
He insists he is not looking to secure a move elsewhere any time soon and fully intends to stick around at Stade Gerland for the foreseeable future.
With two years still to run on his current contract at Lyon, the 24-year-old believes he would be foolish to start afresh in a foreign country at this stage of his career.
He told L'Equipe: "I'm not interested in leaving. I don't want to venture into something unstable.
"I need certainty and to be able to see clearly. I'm doing well here."
