Skysports.com understands Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle is planning another raid on his old club Torquay for Chris Robertson.
Buckle, who left Torquay this summer for Rovers, is keen to be reunited with the versatile defender at the Memorial Stadium.
Robertson is entering the final year of his contract at Plainmoor and Buckle is looking to persuade him to leave the club to join him at Rovers.
Buckle is a big fan of Robertson having worked with him at Torquay and he sees him as a key addition to his squad for next season.
Buckle has already brought in Scott Bevan and Chris Zebroski from Torquay this summer and he is hoping to add Robertson to his ranks.
