Primera Liga giants Sevilla have completed the capture of Emir Spahic from Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina skipper has agreed a three-year contract with his new Spanish club.
The 30-year-old finds himself on the move a year after a proposed switch to Arsenal broke down over an inflated transfer fee.
There have been no such problems this time around and Spahic has confirmed that he is on his way to Sevilla.
"I signed a few days ago and now all that is left is the medical," he told SCsport.ba.
Spahic, who has won 48 caps for his country, was believed to be holding out for a move to the Premier League, but will now be turning out in the Spanish top flight next season.
