Swansea City's move for Barcelona striker Jonathan Soriano appears to have stalled.
Premier League new boys Swansea had lined up a move for the 25-year-old as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins travelled to Spain to hold talks with the player's representatives last weekend, but he has been unable to strike a deal.
It has been suggested Swansea have not been able to agree terms with Soriano, who finished as top scorer in the Spanish Segunda Division last season, notching 32 times for Barca's B side.
"Nothing has been concluded," Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post.
"We were prepared to offer the player an opportunity to join our squad in our first season in the Premier League, but we were not happy with the terms of the deal."
