Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson admits his move for Yeovil captain Craig Alcock may have stalled.
The 23 year-old right-back is out of contract at Huish Park, but has played down links with newly-promoted Posh.
Ferguson said: "We're not any closer on that one and we may have to look elsewhere."
He also confirmed that he has ended his interest in Stephen Gleeson after having an offer for the MK Dons midfielder rejected.
