Scottish Premier League club Motherwell have agreed a deal to sign midfielder Nicky Law when his Rotherham contract expires on 30th June.
Law is set to complete his switch to Fir Park officially on Friday and manager Stuart McCall was delighted to have beaten off a number of interested clubs in England.
McCall knows the 23-year-old, who was linked with both Scunthorpe and big-spending Crawley, well from his time at Sheffield United and Bradford.
He said: "At this moment in time, he is still a Rotherham player, he is under contract to 30th June. But we've done a deal to bring him up on Friday and we are delighted to get him.
"He had a lot of clubs in England interested and, certainly financially, he could have done far better than coming to Motherwell.
"So I'm really pleased that he wants to come north of the border and show his undoubted talent."
