Midfielder Joe Oastler has completed his move to Torquay, signing a two-year deal with the League Two club.
The versatile youngster, who has been released by QPR, verbally agreed a deal to remain at Plainmoor last week following a successful loan spell with the Gulls last season.
Manager Martin Ling told the club's official website: "When I arrived here, Joe was one of the players the club had spoken about.
"I wasn't going to go against those decisions because they had been made by the board and the previous staff at the club.
"Joe did a good job for the club last season, his versatility and performances have earned him a two-year contract.
"He is now a fully-fledged Torquay player and will be looking to kick-on in his career."
