Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis claims midfielder Marek Hamsik is not for sale.

Slovakian strongly linked with move to AC Milan

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis claims midfielder Marek Hamsik is not for sale. The 23-year-old Slovakian playmaker has been strongly linked with a move away from the club this summer, with AC Milan potential suitors. However, De Laurentiis wants to keep him at Napoli and is in no rush to sell with four years left to run on Hamsik's contract. "For me, Hamsik is not for sale," he told Radio Marte. "If there's someone who wants to sit at my table, a table which is very expensive...in football anything is possible, everything is debatable, no one is untouchable. "Hamsik in his role is one of the three strongest players in the world. For now, I have heard nothing more than mere talks." Hamsik has recently suggested that he would be open to a switch to the Rossoneri but De Laurentiis is not overly concerned by the comments. He added: "Marek is a good person that has never created a problem for us. He's a real professional footballer, and we should not demonise him."
