Skysports.com understands former Sunderland star Lorik Cana is hoping to win a move back to the Premier League this summer.
Cana is currently playing for Galatasaray in Turkey after Sunderland surprisingly sold the midfielder last summer.
The 27-year-old joined Sunderland in the summer of 2009 from Marseille and he impressed during his stay at Wearside.
Cana was made club captain at the Stadium of Light and his departure came as something of a shock following his impressive debut campaign for the Black Cats.
The Albanian international is thought to be keen on returning to England as he wants another crack at life in England.
The news is believed to have alerted a number of clubs to Cana's availability and they are ready to offer him a route back to the Premier League.
