FC Groningen have announced the signing of Swedish left-back Emil Johansson.
The 24-year-old defender has completed his move from Norwegian side Molde FK, who he joined from Hammarby last summer.
Groningen coach Pieter Huistra has secured Johansson as a replacement for another Swedish left-back, Fredrik Stenman, who left the Dutch club this summer to join Belgian side Club Brugge on a free transfer.
It is thought Groningen have agreed to pay Molde a fee of 500,000 euros for Johnasson, who has made two international appearances for Sweden's senior team.
Groningen finished fifth in last season's Eredivisie and narrowly missed out on a European place, losing in the final of Holland's Europa League play-offs.
