Korean midfielder distances himself from exit rumours

Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung is hoping to be given the opportunity to stay on at Old Trafford. The Korean has been linked with a switch to Serie A giants Juventus of late, with United having bolstered their options in the middle of the park. The arrival of Ashley Young is expected to see Park slip down the pecking order, while the likes of Tom Cleverley are set to push for regular first-team football this season. Park is refusing to read too much into the speculation, though, and insists he has every intention of staying put. "It would be an honour for me to keep playing for Manchester United," he said. "I just want to stay at Manchester United. As an Asian player, it's an honour to play for the biggest club in the world. "I want to achieve the 20th league title for United."
