Webo would welcome Premier League switch

Youssouf Mulumbu insists he is happy at West Brom, while Pierre Achille Webo has been linked with a move to the Hawthorns. Mulumbu was reported to be set for a summer switch to Fiorentina, speculation which prompted the Baggies to issue a statement denying he would be on the move. The DR Congo midfielder has no plans to turn his back on the Midlands club and will only depart if Roy Hodgson's men decide to part with his services. Mulumbu said: "Every player has a price, if two clubs agree a fee there is nothing you can do. "I have a contract with the club and I want to honour it but it is up to the club who has my registration. "For me, I am still a West Brom player. Any club who wants me needs to convince them to sell me. I am ambitious and want to play at the top level all the time."

Opportunity

Meanwhile, Cameroon international Webo has admitted he would welcome the chance to shine in the Premier League. The forward has been with Spanish outfit Mallorca since 2007 and claims that he is yet to receive an official approach over a summer switch. Webo said: "I would love to play in the Premier League if there is an opportunity. "I heard about some contacts with a club in the Premier League but nothing concrete yet, hopefully things will happen. "However, I have a contract with Mallorca until 2012 so they have their say also and I respect the Mallorca team."
