Sheffield Wednesday have joined the hunt for Ipswich Town striker Jason Scotland.
Brighton are already in the running for the ex-Wigan marksman and now the Owls have thrown their hat in the ring.
Scotland joined Ipswich from Wigan last August, although he was deemed surplus to requirements following Roy Keane's departure as manager.
Ipswich are happy offloading his services in order to trim their wage bill and there are no shortage of takers for the forward.
Brighton can offer the experienced striker Championship football, although Owls chairman Milan Mandaric is trying to broker a deal.
"We are interested in him and we are trying to see what can be done there," Mandaric told The Star.
