Midfielder wants to play in Premier League and could attract offers

Crystal Palace have admitted they will have to consider any offers that are lodged by Premier League clubs for Darren Ambrose. The midfielder signed a three-year deal last summer as Palace warded off interest from QPR. But the former Ipswich and Newcastle man's ambition remains a return to the top flight. Palace vice-chairman Steve Parish is prepared to listen to any bids that may come along if he feels the club can reinvest the money effectively. "We know that players want to play in the Premier League and Darren is no different - he has played there before," said Parish. "If we get an offer for a player who has a certain amount of time on his contract we will have to have a look at it. "If we get the right offers for certain people and we think that we can improve the squad with the money we get for them then we will look at it."
