Rotherham United manager Andy Scott has confirmed in-demand Nicky Law is wanted in Scotland.
The Miller boss has fielded offers for the 23-year-old midfielder, who he expects to leave the club this summer.
However, Scott is surprised Law could be SPL-bound with Motherwell reportedly in the frame for his signature.
Law is out of contract this summer and Scott knows the club will not receive a fee for his services if he goes to Scotland.
"We had some interest and a couple of offers, but I think he has spoken to a team in Scotland," Scott told the club's official website.
"I think we always knew he was going to leave, but I am a little surprised about the move he is making."
