Morecambe have completed the double signing of midfielder Gary McDonald and striker Lewis Alessandra on free transfers.
McDonald joins the League Two club from Hamilton Academical, while striker Alessandra arrives at the Globe Arena after leaving Oldham Athletic.
A two-year deal has been agreed with McDonald and Shrimps boss Jim Bentley is confident both players can make an impact next season.
"Both players are fantastic additions to the squad and I am excited about working with both of them," Bentley told the club's official website.
"I met both of them earlier this week and they were great lads who were really impressed by the set-up we had here.
"Both have played at League One level and above and have a lot of experience which will be a great benefit to us.''
Bentley had already added Kevin Ellison and Izak Reid to his squad for next season since replacing Sammy McIlroy as Morecambe manager.
