Zoltan Gera's agent believes the player's future could be resolved in the next seven days, amid reported interest from Italy.
The Hungary international is out-of-contract after his previous deal at Fulham expired at the end of last season.
It has been suggested he could re-sign at the club, following Martin Jol's appointment, while his former side West Brom have been linked with a swoop.
His representative, Vladan Filipovic, claims there is also interest from Italy while he believes a resolution is forthcoming.
Filipovic said: "I can't say anything concrete about Zoltan Gera yet - but there is nothing to worry about regarding his future.
"Maybe this week will be decisive but his future will be decided, for sure, by the beginning of July.
"We know he will leave Fulham but it is conceivable he would like to stay in England.
"A lot of clubs are interested in signing him. There is interest as well from a Serie A team."
