Ghana international Asamoah Gyan insists he is not looking to leave Sunderland this summer.
The striker has been linked with Tottenham and Stoke after an impressive debut season in the Premier League while an agent reportedly touted Gyan's availability on behalf of his club last week.
Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn rubbished that report, insisting he has no intention of selling Gyan so soon after signing him for a club-record £13million from Rennes last August.
That did not stop German giants Bayern Munich becoming the latest club to be linked with the World Cup star.
But the 25-year-old aimed to put an end to the speculation over his future by reasserting his commitment to the Black Cats.
"I am not leaving Sunderland and I am not interested in these rumours in the newspapers and the internet," he told MTNFootball.com.
"I am fully committed to Sunderland because I love the institution and traditions of this club.
"I am staying at Sunderland next season and the foreseeable future as I am looking forward to meeting my team-mates and Sunderland fans when we return next month."
Gyan scored 11 goals in 33 games for the Black Cats after joining them on a four-year deal last year.
