Skysports.com understands Burnley forward Alex MacDonald has agreed a new deal to stay at Turf Moor.
MacDonald, who has come through the youth ranks at Burnley, was offered a 12-month extension by Eddie Howe and the striker has taken up the deal.
The 21-year-old is highly regarded at Turf Moor and the club were keen to secure his future.
The Scotland Under-21 international ended last season on loan at SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
MacDonald will now be hoping to impress in pre-season as he looks to establish himself in the first team next season.
