Skysports.com understands Bristol City have won the race for Rotherham striker Ryan Taylor.
We revealed on Sunday that the Robins were battling hard to secure the 23-year-old's signature.
They faced stiff competition from Championship rivals Millwall for the highly-rated forward, with Taylor's potential attracting plenty of interest.
The Lions are in the market for a new frontman after seeing Steve Morison snapped up by Norwich and had hoped that Taylor would help to fill the void.
It appears they will be left disappointed, though, with City set to pip them at the post.
Taylor is understood to favour a move to Ashton Gate and is all set to put the finishing touches to a move.
Having been snubbed, Millwall will now be forced to turn their attention elsewhere.
