Steve Cotterill has dismissed reports linking Portsmouth with a move for Burnley defender Andre Bikey.
Bikey, who has been at Turf Moor since 2009, was thought to have been a transfer target for Pompey boss Cotterill in the January transfer window.
However, the manager is adamant he is no longer interested in the Cameroon international.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It's nonsense. I don't know where it came from. I'm not in for him.
"I don't know where it's appeared from. There's no truth in it whatsoever.
"If there was, the only time you'd read about it is when we're signing them. That's how I want to do it.
"If we're signing them I want to speak to the manager and then let the chief execs do their bit, or let David (Lampitt) do the deal.
"So I've given him a couple of names and we're on with that at the moment."
