Doncaster are eyeing a move for Sheffield Wednesday defender Tommy Spurr, skysports.com understands.
Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll is in the market for a new left-back and he has targeted a move for Spurr.
Spurr, who has come through the youth ranks at Hillsborough, is entering the final year of his contract and they could be willing to listen to offers for the 23-year-old.
Spurr is thought to be interested in a move to Doncaster and the chance to play at a higher level than League One.
Rovers are keen to tie up a deal as soon as possible to fend off any interest from other clubs.
