Up To £30 Free Matched Bet understands Rotherham are in talks with former Ipswich Town defender Troy Brown.

Brown is available on a free transfer after leaving Portman Road at the end of last season.

The former Fulham youngster, who made 16 appearances for Ipswich last season, turned down the offer of a new deal as he looks to be playing regular first-team football.

Rotherham boss Andy Scott is keen to bolster his defensive options and is hoping to lure Brown to the League Two club.

A number of other clubs are thought to be interested, but Scott is keen to win the race for the Welsh Under 21 international's signature.
