Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has backed striker Danny Ward to shine for the club next term.
The 19-year-old impressed during a brief loan spell with Huddersfield Town last season, when he netted five goals in as many games.
Coyle is confident Ward will be in his first-term plans next season, given he now has just Kevin Davies, Ivan Klasnic and Robbie Blake, who struggled for action last season, as options in the Bolton attack.
The Trotters have lost Johan Elmander at the end of his contract, while Daniel Sturridge has returned to Chelsea following a loan spell at the Reebok.
The Trotters boss said: "I've been delighted with his level of performances.
"He is a terrific young player who is only going to get better."
