Striker weighs up options

Skysports.com understands Marlon Harewood has offers from two Championship clubs as well as interest from Notts County. Harewood is available on a free transfer having been released by Blackpool at the end of the season. Notts County revealed on Thursday they had tabled a two-year deal for the former Nottingham Forest man after holding talks with the striker. However, a number of Championship clubs are thought to be keen on signing the 31-year-old this summer. Harewood's agent, Phil Sproson, has confirmed a couple of second-tier clubs have made offers for the former West Ham hit-man with the forward set to weigh up all his options before making a decision on where to continue his career. "Marlon has spoken to Notts County after they made their interest known in him," Sproson told skysports.com. "However, he also has had two offers from two Championship clubs who are offering him two-year deals. "A number of other sides are also keen on Marlon and he is keeping his options open. "We will consider all offers that come our way and hopefully Marlon will have his future resolved soon." Millwall and Burnley are both thought to be keen on signing Harewood as they look to bolster their attacking options.
