Skysports.com understands that Ipswich Town are leading the chase for Belgium international Faris Haroun.
Central midfielder Haroun is currently with Germinal Beerschot, but he is available for transfer as they are struggling financially and need to cash in on some of their top assets.
The 25-year-old, who has six Belgium caps to his name, is now attracting interest from across Europe.
A handful of English sides have shown an interest, but Ipswich boss Paul Jewell is understood to be heading the chase for his signature.
There are also the likes of Cologne and Bochum in Germany, who are very keen and could yet persuade Haroun to move elsewhere.
