Malaga have confirmed the signing of experienced striker Ruud van Nistelrooy from Hamburg. The Dutchman, who turns 35 next month, is to be unveiled as a Malaga player to supporters on Thursday evening. Malaga have revealed no further details of the deal but Spanish media claims Van Nistelrooy has signed a one-year contract with the option of a further year if he plays a determined number of matches. "Throughout my career I have been with many clubs and have shared a dressing room with world-class players," Van Nistelrooy told Marca. "I feel very proud and happy to be here." Former PSV Eindhoven and Manchester United forward Van Nistelrooy joined Hamburg in January 2010 after four years at Real Madrid. At Real, he scored 46 goals in the league, winning the award for the top scorer in 2007.
