A number of Spanish clubs are contemplating a bid for West Ham winger Pablo Barrera.
The Mexico international joined the Hammers last summer from UNAM after he impressed at the World Cup finals.
But he was limited to just six starts under Avram Grant and is believed to be considering his future.
He could be offered the chance of a move to La Liga, although West Ham will be looking to recoup most of their initial outlay, should they decide to let him leave.
Both Espanyol and Real Zaragoza have been linked, and are thought to be keen on a possible loan, although that does not appear to be an option West Ham would consider at this point.
Barrera's agent Jorge Berlanga has confirmed the interest, but insists West Ham would decide his future.
"Some clubs are interested in the player but the decision lies with West Ham," he said.
