Ankle injury puts Tynecastle switch in doubt
Former Aberdeen defender Zander Diamond's proposed move to Hearts is in jeopardy because of injury.
Hearts have agreed a deal to sign the 26-year-old on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Aberdeen.
However, concerns over an old ankle injury have raised doubts about the move going through with Hearts boss Jim Jefferies waiting on news from the club's medical staff before making a decision on Diamond's switch.
"We won't know the full position until we sit down for discussions with the medical people," Jefferies told the Daily Record.
"Once we're in possession of all the information we'll be better placed to know if we can take the deal forward."
