Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson admits he is sad to be leaving Blackpool after failing to keep them in the Premier League.
Kingson has linked up with his international team-mates for their African Cup of Nations qualifiers and a friendly against South Korea and will put any decision about his club future on hold.
After making 20 appearances for the Seasiders last season, Kingson believes he has proved himself as a top-level shot-stopper.
Kingson said: "I had a great time at Blackpool and I think I proved to those who had doubts that I am good for that level.
"It is just a shame that the club went down because it is a very good club, one that will remain very special to me."
