Youngster reiterates desire to return to Old Trafford next season

Tom Cleverley has ruled out a return to Wigan next season and insists he will be plying his trade at Manchester United. The young midfielder has been sent out on loan by United for the past three years to aid his development, most recently on a season-long stint at the DW Stadium. And after helping the Latics sidestep relegation from the Premier League, 21-year-old Cleverley has reiterated his intention to force his way into Sir Alex Ferguson's first-team plans. The England Under 21 international told the Daily Star: "I'll be back at United next year. "Of course, Wigan will be the first result I'll look for and the club will always be close to my heart. "We achieved what we wanted as a team and that means everything to me. Staying up was the best moment of my career. "Now I go back looking to build on what I've done and hopefully make my mark at Old Trafford."
